Global EVENTS

Globalisation has become a popular term over recent years and involves all the nations merging together to eventually form one global trading system. This is possible with the modern and advanced technology we have in our communication and transport systems. Globalisation is viewed by many as a solution to most of the world’s current problems, as some issues we are faced with today are on a global scale, such as the global war on terror, the global financial crisis and global warming, which could be solved if the world worked together. A global single economy would provide a solution to worldwide trade. 

The Bible gives detailed information about the coming globalisation and according to end-time prophecy it will occur before Christ returns. This is detailed in the book of Revelation, a global government under one ruler, with a global economy and one world religion.  This global leader, the Antichrist, is granted authority by Satan over every tribe, people, language and nation, and along with the False Prophet forces everyone to take his mark (mark of the Beast) in a global trading system. Globalisation is preparing the nations for the Antichrist, and at the core is control, power, greed and deception. 

“all the world marvelled and followed the beast (Antichrist)…authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life… (Revelation 13:3-8)

All nations united under the Antichrist’s rule will have a huge impact on the way things currently operate. This will be the final world empire, in which he will control all finance and religious worship (Revelation 13:7-8). The ‘Illuminati’ are the main organisation driving the nations towards a global dictatorship under a New World Order, and along with other international organisations, one which is the United Nations, have been planning this for some time with the use of technology, economy, trade, communication, religion, politics and military forces. 

The obstacles that prevent the coming globalisation are nationalism and religion. New policies will be put in place to force nations to work together so they are are not hindered by national boundaries and religious beliefs. This could happen if a major war broke out, or an economic global crisis occurred, which could happen soon and happen suddenly!

This global system is also detailed in the book of Daniel and comes after the rise of a ten-king confederation (Daniel 2:41–42 7:16–24 and Revelation 13:1). One of the smaller and less significant kings (little horn) uproots three of the other existing kings. 

“I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. (Daniel 7:8)

The other kings then give their authority over to this king (Antichrist). This confederation could be part of, or possibly connected to the United Nations.

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings…God has put it into their hearts to fulfil His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast…” 

(Revelation 17:12-17)

Many Christians are familiar with the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11, which took place shortly after the flood and resulted in all people speaking in different languages. Globalisation is similar to the’ Tower of Babel’, which was in Babylon, one of the cities founded by King Nimrod (Noah’s great-grandson). Up until then, the world spoke one language. The people decided to build a city with a tower that reached up to heaven. By building the tower they wanted to prevent people being scattered over the earth rather than filling the earth as God had commanded. A global system in the last days, referred to as ‘Harlot Babylon’ in Revelation 17:3-6 is associated with the original Babylon, and just as God destroyed the Tower of Babel, this system will eventually be destroyed.

Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.” (Revelation 17: 1-2)

Globalisation and the rise of a one world system under the Antichrist’s rule is certain to happen, as this is prophesied in scripture and is part of God’s end-time plan. God’s plans for globalisation commence under the reign and leadership of His son, Jesus. At the second coming, when the Antichrist’s rule and kingdom are overturned and destroyed, it is replaced with the’ Millennial Reign of Christ’ where he rules worldwide from Jerusalem. All nations will then come under his rule (Revelation 19–20),which will be one of true righteousness, peace and justice (Isaiah 11:3-5).

For some time now we have been heading towards a ‘cashless society’, as cash cannot be easily traced or monitored, it is easier to launder and go undeclared. Cash will be a thing of the past in the very near future!

Most financial transactions are now done by electronic transfer replacing most cash transactions. Most employers already pay employees electronically. If cash is taken out of circulation, even transactions to or from another person will need approval. No cash jobs, car boot or garage sales without the verification through the mark! 

The technology required for the Mark of the Beast system could already be in use, even before the Antichrist has come into power. When the Antichrist implements this system, people will have to swear their allegiance to his empire before receiving the mark.

Biometrics are an individual’s unique characteristic used for identification, such as the fingerprint or retina scan, or facial or voice recognition technology. The appropriate scanner verifies a person’s identity against the biometric. UK Passports issued since 2010 already have the ‘Biometric’ chip inserted with a personal ID number connected to your passport. e-passport gates now operate in most major airports worldwide. A reader and camera, instead of a border officer verifies a person's identity against a chipped passport using facial recognition technology. 

Biometrics will eventually become the method used to confirm a person’s identity, there will no longer be a need for passwords, security codes or PINs. Biometrics are already being used to identify a person, or allow access through certain entry points, such as airports public transport, computer networks, election voting and banking. Government agencies already use biometrics to confirm an identity and allow access to restricted areas or networks. Biometrics are being used for public security systems, electronic devices and various financial transactions and give a more positive ID that cannot be forgotten, lost or stolen. 

Security and convenience will be the reasons used for introducing biometrics. Identity fraud will be used as a demand for a more secure method. Just as biometrics are used for facial recognition, fingerprint and retina scans, many people could agree to a micro-chip implant to secure their personal data and  eliminate fraud, as a microchip implant inserted into the body cannot be stolen.

Bank Biometric Cards

Mastercard are ready to begin issuing biometric bank card fingerprint scanners that can be used almost anywhere. Trials for the biometric card started in South Africa in April, 2017. According to various reports, UK Banks are working behind the scenes for the biometric bank card to be issued in the very near future. 

The card is similar to those already used, but with a small biometric scanner at the top right-hand corner.  The finger is placed on the sensor and is matched against the data stored before a transaction can be authorised. 

By the time the mark is enforced, technology will be more advanced, and these are only possibilities to illustrate how it can already be achieved. The most important issue is not what the mark will be, but to recognise it and be ready to reject it when it comes!

Tracking, Surveillance & Control

Social media sites and online activity is closely monitored and can also be used against you. Switch (EFTPOS) transactions tracks all your spending. Technology in workplaces are used for surveillance and to control employees, computer systems are used to monitor a workers production. Most electronic devices and smart phones can be tracked via satellite and GP coordinates. CCTV surveillance operates in most cities across the UK. The mark will be well advertised and promoted in advance as ‘the latest advancement in technology’ with emphasis on all the positive aspects, such as speed, efficiency, security and break-through for crime prevention to help eliminate:

· Identity fraud 

· Tax evasion

· Human & drug trafficking

· Child abduction

· Corruption & money laundering

· Prostitution

· Selling or buying stolen goods

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. (Revelation 13: 16-17)

Fingerprint technology is used by law enforcement for matching against any criminal activity. Fingerprint and retina scans are methods that can guarantee f a person's identity, as there are no two alike, each one is individual and unique. 

A person’s fingerprint doesn’t change over their lifetime, but voice and facial appearances can through age, illness or surgery. The Mark will placed on the right hand or the forehead (Revelation 13:16). 

The location of the micro-chip could be connected to the scan area. Those who use the fingerprint scan to confirm their identity would have a micro-chip implant inserted into the hand,  those who use iris scan would have it implanted in the forehead.

Fingerprint recognition is now used for Apple's Touch ID for the iPhone, which is the first widely used method. Most recent models of the smartphone now already come with the biometric fingerprint scan.

Britain’s decision to exit the European Union in June 2016 plays an important part in Bible end-time prophecy. The decision to leave the EU shocked the world and also divided the UK. After being part of the EU since 1973, Britain has decided to leave and take back the control of its sovereignty as a nation. The UK were not fully committed to the EU as other nations were, as they were not part of the euro currency, the EU did not achieve their intended unity.

Although there have been advantages as being part of the EU, there have been many disadvantages. Over half the British people believe the disadvantages have outweighed the benefits of being in the EU. Remaining in the EU would continue to rob the UK of their rights and independence. The regulations and policies of the EU have robbed Britain of their sovereignty. While being part of the EU, laws and regulations have been passed by bureaucrats and officials that Britain did not vote for or have any control over. Britain has very little control over immigration and control of its borders, which is a threat to their national security, as people in the EU are able to pass through freely. This has led to many migrants entering the UK. The EU allows citizens to locate freely. Once refugees have been granted entry into one of the EU states, they are free to locate any where in the EU, as we have seen through Angela Merkel’s open-door policy for many refugees, which has proved to be a disaster. 

The driving force behind Brexit is for self-govern. The EU is a political system but is not one of democracy, it has enslaved nations. Some countries in the EU are in serious financial difficulty. Some fear Brexit could have serious repercussions on the British Economy with a possible economic collapse that could affect other nations. While Britain remains in the EU, there is no major trading with China, India and other world markets. Many remain campaigners fear that barriers will rise if Britain leaves the EU, which is where 44% of Britain’s exports go, but this will also affect the economy of those who sell goods to the UK. When Britain leaves the EU, it will leave 27 members.

EU negotiations with Turkey for possible membership was an issue for some of the British, as it would bring even less control over their borders. There was also the future of their defence force. The EU have already began forming their own European Army. If the EU have their own defence force, Britain would have to be part of this, replacing their own military force.

What Will Be The Future of the EU?

This could be the beginning of the end of the EU, or could strengthen ties within the EU?  When the UK has left, it could bring unity amongst remaining nations and speed up the fulfilment of Bible prophecy bringing a closer union in the euro currency, EU government and a military force. Or it could have a domino effect on other EU countries reconsidering their future and relationship within the EU, including Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and France. Italy is also now considering withdrawing from the Euro currency. Some believe  it is only a matter of time before the EU crumbles. Swexit, Czexit and Frexit are terms being used to describe political parties that have emerged to represent their nation withdrawing from the EU. 

Many have predicted what will happen to the EU now that Britain has decided to leave, including many politicians, businessman, economists and financial forecasters. However, Bible prophecy tells us what the future holds politically and economically! 

Almost three years after the UK shocked the world by voting to leaving the EU, we have still not left! For months, the British parliament has rejected the Prime Minister, Theresa May's Brexit proposals, who wants to remain in the EU. Some anti-Brexit politicians believe they can delay Brexit by not agreeing to a deal and push for  another referendum. Exit from the EU was originally scheduled to happen on 29 March 2019, but British parliament failed to agree on an exit plan. Members of Parliament voted to delay the withdrawal until June 30 2019. This could conclude with the UK leaving without a deal. Under the new leadership of Boris Johnson, it is becoming more a possibility of a no-deal Brexit (as at 28th August 2019) with exit planned for the 31st October 2019. Repercussions may not just affect the UK but also the global economy. The pound dropped in value by 11%, the lowest in 30 years the day news of the vote was announced, global markets also suffered. Due to fears of a possible economic disaster, many politicians are calling for another referendum or a parliamentary vote to overturn the original vote. Their attempts are to stall Brexit and get it overturned. 

The book of Daniel and Revelation mentions a final revived Roman Empire that comes from within Europe itself prior to Christ’s return. Through careful study of Bible prophecy, it leads us to conclude that the system of the Antichrist stems from the EU or a newly formed United States of Europe. 

Brexit is another reason to believe that an EU system will be what Daniel the Prophet fore-told of as a fourth and final world empire. The EU's characteristics correspond to those Daniel describes and confirms Bible end-time prophecy is being unfolded!

Virus or a Manufactured Bioweapon?

We are now witnessing mass panic and hysteria on a global scale. Many have self-isolated themselves due to fears of spreading coronavirus or concern of infecting others. Countries are closing their borders and legislations are being introduced to allow the authorities to either isolate people, put  them in confinement or refuse people entry into other nations. In just less than a month, our free will, rights and freedom have now been dramatically restricted with international travel bans, social gatherings, sporting events, concerts and many venues across the globe being cancelled. The pandemic has triggered a global crisis, with panic, fear and a possible global economic collapse!

Is The Virus As Deadly as Made Out?

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) is reported to have initially emerged in Wuhan, China late December 2019 which resulted in the shutdown of mainland China. It has now rapidly spread to other parts of the globe. China has the largest economy and population. The nations today are closely connected with our advancement and increase in travel and transportation, diseases can spread more rapidly than in the 13th, 14th and early 19th century. Any virus can be dangerous, such as the flu, especially for those with weak immune systems and the elderly. We have witnessed over the past years: black death, bubonic plague, smallpox, polio, TB, AIDS, SARS, Swine flu and Ebola. 

Covid-19 has become more of a danger than terrorism. Schools, nurseries, universities and surgeries are closed, our supermarket shelves are empty due to panic buying. A pandemic can paralyse nations more so than any natural disaster, which is more confined to an area or region. Humanitarian aid and aid workers from other nations would normally go to the regions affected. In the case of a pandemic, the nations will focus more on dealing with their own crisis. Many cities and nations will not receive aid from neighbouring cities or other nations. 

Warnings of Pestilence in the Bible

The first four seals in Revelation 6 details the effects of false religion, wars, famines and plagues upon the earth in the days that lead up to Christ’s return.

“When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him.” (Revelation 6:7-8)

In Luke 21, Jesus warned us of religious deception, war, famines and pestilence (diseases, epidemics), as these would increase before His return. 

“There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (Luke 21:11)

Global Economic Collapse

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the world trading market. Many businesses have already been affected, especially tourism and the travel sector, resulting in a collapse of airlines and holiday companies. Those with jobs in retail, hotels restaurants, pubs and in entertainment are suffering, resulting in reduced hours and redundancies that will have a significant impact on the global economy. We experienced a domino effect with the property market back in 2008.

Are You Ready For What is Coming?

Have measures been introduced to control and bring about a New World Order? We are now in a new era: a new world is upon us! Restrictions and control of food supplies and resources are being introduced to prevent panic buying and stockpiling. People are being confined to their homes, fines are being introduced, and in some cities,  curfews have been enforced. We may well have a military presence in many of our towns and cities to maintain order in the very near future. 

A Global Trading System with a Global Leader!

During times of disaster and crisis, people respond to powerful leaders. Bible end-time prophecy tells us this will happen prior to Christ’s return. A powerful global leader (The Anti-Christ) will appear on the scene with solutions to some complex situations, supported by world leaders. For this to happen, the world will have to encounter a crisis that threatens the nations desperate enough for a solution. 

Revelation 18:5 describes a dominant global trading system emerging in the end-times supported by corrupt politicians and religious leaders. Christ’s return brings about the destruction of this system. Before this happens, for a short time it will have control over all the earth’s inhabitants so that “no one may buy or sell” (Revelation 13:17) and dominate the global economy.

God Promise of Protection

Fear is the greatest weapon used to control people and many people are afraid and anxious about the future. God’s protection is for those who love, serve and obey Him. He is our protector, our refuge and saviour!

“Surely He shall deliver you…from the perilous pestilence… You shall not be afraid…of the pestilence… A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you… No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling” (Psalms 91:3-10).
